Art in the City

Under the banner of Art in the City (Kunst in de Stad), the Middelheim Museum manages, expands, and researches the urban public art collection.

In addition to this collection-driven work, Art in the City also initiates temporary art projects and conducts research into the history and social significance of art in public space in Antwerp and beyond. Art in the City also offers advice and guidance on new art commissions to other municipal departments and public institutions.
