The Middelheim Museum organises an outreach programme, which, possibly even more than other museums, is specialised in receiving visitors that have less skills or are less integrated when it comes to culture. The Middelheim Museum makes an ongoing effort to reach, receive and provide support for its very diverse target audiences, whether professionals or less experienced visitors.
The Middelheim Museum wants to reach and be accessible to as many people as possible, and seeks to establish relations with partners in the area surrounding the park, including the University of Antwerp and ZNA Middelheim. It also has an impact on the urban planning of the museum’s surroundings.
